The Burning Land
I love this whole series, but I'm ready for Uhtred to finally make his move for his ancestral home. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of bloody (but very enjoyable) hacking through Viking and Saxon warriors, and a change of woman every few books or so. Still, the characters are well-drawn and the period details are so convincing, I'll keep at it as long as Cornwell is willing.
